I founded the M. Kameron Hawkins Foundation, Inc., Non-profit with a deep sense of purpose and pride in my home state of Nevada—our beloved “Battle Born” state.
My vision is simple:
To help every county, community, and Nevada thrive by promoting tourism.
I believe Nevada is so much more than its famous destinations. It is the people, businesses, communities, traditions, landscapes, events, and stories that make each part of our state unique.
I created this Foundation to help bring those stories together—and to help more people discover what makes Nevada special.
My Mission:

My mission is to strengthen Nevada communities by creating platforms that promote tourism, local businesses, community events, and the unique character of all 17 Nevada counties.
I am focused on two important goals:
- Promoting Nevada tourism by encouraging residents and visitors to discover more of our state.
- Strengthening communities by giving local businesses, organizations, event organizers, and community voices greater opportunities for visibility and connection.
I believe that when people discover more of Nevada, our communities benefit.

I created Nevada Outdoors Magazine to celebrate the incredible outdoor beauty and adventure found throughout our state.
From Nevada’s dramatic desert landscapes and red-rock formations to its mountain ranges, alpine country, scenic roads, wildlife, and outdoor recreation, the magazine encourages readers to look beyond the familiar and discover the natural side of Nevada.
Through photography, stories, resources, guides, and insights, Nevada Outdoors Magazine inspires residents and visitors to explore more of our state and experience the rugged beauty of the Silver State.

Connecting Nevada Through Events
Communities come alive through the events they create.
That’s why I developed Nevada.Events—a statewide event platform designed to make it easier for people to discover what’s happening throughout Nevada.
I provide event organizers, businesses, nonprofits, community groups, and organizations with a place to list their events for free, helping them connect with residents and visitors looking for things to do across the state.
From festivals and farmers’ markets to concerts, fundraisers, rodeos, business events, and community celebrations, I want to help bring greater attention to the experiences happening throughout Nevada.
